Contract or Direct:  Contract with possible permanent hire

Years Experience: Minimum of 10

Salary/Hourly  Range:   $35 to $40 per hour

Skills:  Software analysis, design, and systems development, team lead and work experience in a project management. • Have experience specific to Oracle Application development, Oracle Service Contracts, Installed Base, support, and deployment for large, complex implementation. § Technically competent with various software and SOA Architecture. • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently. • Self motivation; customer-focused orientation. • Strong written and oral communication skills • Decision making skills. • Strong team orientation. • People Management skills.

 

Job Description-  The candidate is responsible for leading our purchased Oracle ERP application focused on our Services Contracts functions. They are expected to assist in analysis, development and deployment of Installed Base Services Contracts applications. They apply their expertise to improve critical business processes and they seek out opportunities to educate customers in the strategic use of technology. They are responsible to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. Key Areas of Responsibility • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals. • Develop project plans and associated communications documents. • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion. • Determine and assess need for additional Team member and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. • Track project milestones and deliverables. • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. • Assure the team’s objectives are completed successfully, according to specifications, on schedule. • Provide performance feedback on ongoing basis to individuals on the team. • Ensure team receives appropriate training and career development. • Develops employees by providing challenges and opportunities. • Assesses and makes judgments about the technical competence of team members. • Provides coordination between the group managed and other teams to resolve technical and process issues. • Works with business analyst to determine development priorities.
